Hazelgrove Park
Oh I do like to be beside Saltburn-by-the-Sea
Located in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, a popular holiday destination on the Cleveland coast, Hazelgrove Park joined the Tingdene Parks portfolio in 2009.
Initially operating as a caravan park, the past 11 years have seen the site undergo substantial redevelopment with significant investment in infrastructure and landscaping, resulting today in a well-established, fully residential park with 133 currently occupied homes.
This spring saw the launch of the latest phase of the development, as the provision for a further 24 bases ready for new park homes were added to the site. Alongside the new plots the park also welcomed a new Sales Manager in 2020 with Darren Baxter joining the team.
Working under covid restrictions, and battling easterly winds, the teams have managed the safety of the customers and themselves whilst also continuing with business as usual. All the recent open day appointment slots were fully booked as visitors came to see the new development, catch a glimpse of the sea and take a tour of the brand-new Prestige Majestic showhome.
It is fantastic to see that all their hard work and excellent teamwork has paid dividends with nine of the new plots already reserved off plan since their release in February.
As summer fast approaches we are hopeful visitors will once again flock to the seaside and take the time to see how they can enjoy the health and well-being benefits of coastal living at Hazelgrove Park.
Trowbridge Lodge Park
Full of character and charm
Acquired by Tingdene Parks 20 years ago, Trowbridge Lodge Park is set within a former private country estate and boasts a picturesque and peaceful setting.
Like many places in 2020 Trowbridge Park experienced a particularly quiet year as people stayed at home. Visits to the park significantly reduced and the park was essentially in hibernation. That is until, just like buses, two gentleman Mr Roland and Mr Ryder came on the scene, both looking to relocate to the park.
Not your typical buyer, Mr Roland had found us via an advert in Park Home Living magazine. With no access to the internet for further research he came to his meeting at the Tingdene Homes Visitor Centre with Teresa saying, “I don’t want to be sold to”. Upon leaving he’d put down his deposit, booked his specification date and was ready to move.
In fact, Mr Roland was so sure his move to the park was going to suit his needs, he wasn’t interested in seeing the park at all. It was only on the insistence of the Sales Team and his daughter that he finally made a visit to Trowbridge Lodge Park to take a look around. After a short tour he quickly confirmed “Yes, this is exactly what I am looking for.” Now settled into his new home he is enjoying being closer to his family.
With both gentleman completing on their homes in April this has been an extremely positive result for the park and one we hope to build on over the coming months. With only four remaining plots available at Trowbridge Lodge Park and another completion expected by the end of the year the race to fill the park is on.
Badgerwood Park
A jewel in the heart of Berkshire
With the grand opening of Badgerwood Park planned for April 2020 the start of lockdown certainly put a spanner in the works. The launch event for the first 28 homes of this 70-home development was supposed to be a party in the park - complete with pizza oven - but instead of a big opening weekend the park was void of visitors for weeks.
Undeterred by covid restrictions, and despite all the challenges the pandemic threw at them, the Tingdene Parks team worked tirelessly over the summer months to transform the park, encourage visitors and to show them the beautiful surroundings in which they could live.
With an amazing entrance to your new home, who wouldn’t fall in love with Badgerwood?
Now, one year on, it is with great pride that we can sit back and take stock of their achievements. With the first two homes completing at the end of 2020, we now have 5 homes occupied on site and a further two completing this May, giving us a total of 7 new homes in a 12-month period. This is exceptional for any new park and is even more extraordinary given the circumstances we have all been working with this past year.
A big well done to everyone involved in the success of Badgerwood Park, from the building of the park, creating the wow factor with an amazing entrance and driveway, to welcoming customers onsite, managing the sales and then finally ensuring the new residents are happy and settled into their new homes. As restrictions begin to ease and customers are more willing to visit we look forward to releasing the second phase very soon.
