As we continue our spotlight series on Tingdene Group’s Core Values, this month we are focusing on our third value that looks at what we do and how we do it: Identity.
What does ‘Identity’ mean to us?
Every business has an identity. At Tingdene Group, our identity and focus is developing, enhancing and operating leading residential parks, holiday parks and marinas centred around community.
We strive to continually deliver unique places that are distinctive and meaningful to the individuality of our residents, owners, berth holders, and guests.
What we also have to do is modernise, adapt and change to the way the consumer market or trends adjust over time. Our principal identity in development and investment remains consistent but the uniqueness of an individual site through geography, environment, clientele and how we deliver our service or product needs constant scrutiny with our method of adoption reviewed, challenged and adapted when necessary.
How we see ‘Identity’ in action
Our identity comes from the uniqueness of our operations across Tingdene Group sites.
We have never set out to be the biggest operator of residential, holiday or marina assets across the UK. Our business has been built through internal and external growth strategies that align with our desire to organically grow over the long term in a sensible and controlled manner ensuring a successful and profitable business supporting our various stakeholders for many years to come.
Our recent investments in Farndon Marina, Holy Loch Marina and Stonecliff Residential Park reflect that identity. These locations and their communities are distinctively unique and we look forward to the next phase of their journeys to develop, enhance and operate into the future.
We are also taking meaningful steps to modernise and adapt our identity with regards to environmental and sustainable practices. Through dedicated projects such as the Suffolk Wildlife Trust Partnership, TYHA Clean Marina Accreditation, Upton Lake Clean Water Testing, Caldecott Hall Wildlife Zoning and local Green Teams, our positive impact is growing and stretching further each year.
Why Identity matters
As we continue to change and grow over the coming years, our identity remains our foundation. Our identity provides our guiding principles for investment and practise for what we do while allowing room for consideration for how we do it.
