As you may have been aware, the Group continues to review and assess our learning, development and training needs across the various business units. In response to requests for individual development growth and business requirements, we subsequently launched our new E-Learning Hub across the Group in June.
The main idea of introducing the E-Learning training has been to afford all our employees the opportunity to receive an element of knowledge-based awareness training.
Some of the training will provide awareness of your requirements under health & safety, essential to ensure we work safely together. Other subjects will cover HR requirements in the workplace, such as being respectful of each other while at work. Skill-based training will be provided to enhance your current skills or help you develop new skills.
The E-Learning training will also provide a pathway to progression within the Group of companies. For instance, specific training courses will need to have been completed to attain a level of management. The E-Learning Hub will empower you to learn flexibly and digitally, whilst strengthening our “One Group” approach and ensuring your ongoing development.
Another important asset of the E-learning is we now have a comprehensive Induction process for new starters, who are now being assigned specific training in line with the job role, giving them a starting platform for their own development within the Tingdene Group.
So, no matter what your role is within the company, we hope you will find that E-Learning training is beneficial for you.

The E-Learning Hub will be accessible to users via company provided laptops, computers, tablets and smart mobiles. Users are required to access their work email addresses to log on for the first time. Once logged on, it’s recommended you save the page in your favourites.
For those employees who do not have access to a device, Managers are required to make arrangements to both access their work email and undertake the e-learning courses they are allocated.
Please note: E-Learning training is to be completed during normal working hours. Managers should ensure sufficient time is allocated for themselves and their teams to complete the training assigned within their normal working hours.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact the E-Learning Co-ordinator for your business area.
