As we conclude our spotlight series on Tingdene Group’s Core Values, this month we are focusing on a value that reflects the professionalism, honesty and accountability we strive for as a business: Integrity.

What does ‘Integrity’ mean to us?

At Tingdene Group, integrity is about doing the right thing — consistently, responsibly, and with honesty.

It influences how we make decisions, how we treat one another, and how we build relationships with our residents, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders. Integrity is not simply about policies or processes, but about creating trust through our actions and behaviours every day.

As a long-standing third generation family business, we understand the importance of accountability and transparency. Whether we are investing in our parks and marinas, supporting our teams, or delivering services to customers, integrity helps ensure we operate in a way that is fair, respectful, and aligned with our values.

How we see ‘Integrity’ in action

Integrity can be seen across all areas of Tingdene Group.

It’s reflected in the way we communicate openly with residents and customers, ensuring expectations are known and relationships are built on trust from day one. As some of you will be aware, our holiday parks team members have been championing and driving ‘smart disclosure’ principles to prospective holiday home owners to ensure we lead from the front with the small print. The good, the bad and the ugly are shown upfront meaning being a Tingdene Holiday Parks customer and owner is clear and understood, with no surprises along the way!

Integrity is present in the standards we set ourselves across our business,  from maintaining compliance and health and safety standards to ensuring our environments are well cared for and responsibly managed. For our teams, we encourage colleagues to share ideas, raise concerns, and work collaboratively in an environment built on mutual respect and professionalism.

We also recognise that integrity means taking a long-term approach to decision-making. Whether investing in new developments, improving our operations, or introducing new initiatives for colleagues and customers, we focus on making decisions that are sustainable, considered, and right for the future of our business.

Why does it matter?

Integrity builds confidence and trust,  both within our teams and across the wider communities we serve.

At Tingdene Group, the business and its people continue to evolve. During that daily, weekly or annual change, we must endeavour to remain consistent and honest to the standards and principles that have helped us build the business over more than 50 years.
