We are thrilled to share some fantastic news!

Racecourse Marina Windsor has officially become the first marina on the River Thames to earn the TYHA Clean Marina accreditation!

This is more than a milestone, it’s a proud moment for all of us at Tingdene Group and a shining example of what’s possible when passion, teamwork, and environmental responsibility come together.

The Clean Marina status is a well-deserved recognition of months of commitment, care, and hands-on improvements made by the Racecourse team.

From enhancing waste and recycling systems to promoting eco-conscious practices with berth holders, their efforts have truly set a benchmark.

We’d like to give a special shout-out to the brilliant team behind the achievement:

  • Mark Pearce – General Manager

  • Hanan Baza – Marina Assistant

  • Jake Dunlop – Maintenance Assistant

  • Aimee Hockley – Marina Assistant

  • James Lyn – Maintenance Assistant

  • Jo Minton – Boat Sales Executive

  • Nathan Kipling – Boat Sales Executive

  • Nikki Goodchild – Lodge Sales Executive

Your hard work hasn’t just earned recognition; it’s paved the way for others to follow.

The TYHA Clean Marina initiative is all about encouraging marinas to operate in ways that protect our waterways, wildlife, and environment. Racecourse Marina’s certification is a significant step forward in Tingdene’s broader sustainability goals, and it’s only the beginning. Plans are already in motion to build on this success across our network.

Please join us in congratulating the Racecourse Marina team for this fantastic accomplishment. It’s a testament to our shared values in action and a reminder that small changes really do add up to something big.

Well done, team , you’ve set the bar high and inspired us all.

Just a few miles upstream, Thames & Kennet Marina is also making waves, proudly retaining its 5 Gold Anchor accreditation from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), a globally recognised mark of excellence.

While Racecourse leads on environmental responsibility, Thames & Kennet continues to shine across a broader spectrum of marina quality, scoring highly in ambience, customer service, facilities, and infrastructure. The 5 Gold Anchors celebrate a marina where attention to detail, operational consistency, and visitor experience come together seamlessly.

A huge well done to Assistant Manager Max and the entire team, whose professionalism and care ensure that every customer, whether staying for a night or a season, feels right at home.

A Shared Spirit of Excellence

While each recognition highlights a different strength, they’re united by one thing: the Tingdene standard.

  • At Racecourse, we’re leading by example in environmental stewardship, showing that marinas can thrive while protecting the waterways we love.

  • At Thames & Kennet, we’re reaffirming our position as a destination marina, where five-star service is simply standard.

Together, these achievements reflect our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences across the board, for customers, communities, and the environment.

Please join us in congratulating the teams at Racecourse Marina Windsor and Thames & Kennet Marina. Your hard work is a proud reflection of Tingdene Group's values in action, and a sign of even greater things ahead.
